Traci Petruzelli

Traci Dowdy was born in raised in Haines city, Florida. She attended Polk State College and received her bachelor’s degree in business Supervision and Management. She started karate in 2020 after watching classes at the Jungle MMA and Fitness while working out. She knew she wanted to do a martial art and knew karate would be the best fit for her. Being that Traci is part Japanese, karate held a deeper meaning and sense honoring her heritage and culture.

With 4 years of training and 3 years of experience in teaching, Traci has her 1st degree black belt (shodan) in shito-ryu karate, and black belt in Okinawa kobudo. She continues to strive to learn as much as she can and pass on the knowledge to the adults and kids at Jyanguru dojo.
